Jan Cuva-Primmer, LSW
Jan Cuva-Primmer is a licensed social worker who has provided psychotherapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults for the past 25 years. She has extensive experience specializing in trauma, abuse, anxiety, depression, and working in a variety of public and private settings. This includes grassroots advocacy organizations, hospitals, hospice, public schools, and experience in developing community organizations. Jan is presently working in Central Pennsylvania as a school social worker, where she assesses and supports students’ mental and emotional needs.
With a lifelong passion for caring and counseling, Jan found a valuable outlet for her skills and creativity through writing. She has authored a growing catalog of books geared toward children and young adults that take a therapeutic approach to teaching life lessons. With every story, she creates a realistic and relatable world of characters that illustrate important learning opportunities.
